Wedding photography, Tallahassee

Photographs that look like the day actually felt

Editorial, warm, and led by real light. We cover weddings across Tallahassee and North Florida, documenting the day as it unfolds and stepping in only where a little direction saves you time.

How the coverage is planned

Wedding photography lives or dies on the timeline, so that is where we start. We work backwards from sunset, place the ceremony where the light is kindest, and build a short portrait window into the reception rather than hoping one appears.

From there the day runs on its own. Preparation is documented quietly. The ceremony is covered from positions agreed in advance, which matters even more when a film team is working alongside us. Family photographs are run from a list you approve, so twenty minutes stays twenty minutes.

What a typical day includes

  • Preparation coverage for both of you, details and portraits
  • Full ceremony coverage from multiple positions
  • Family and group photographs from an agreed list
  • A scheduled couple portrait window at the best light of the day
  • Reception coverage: entrances, toasts, first dances, open dancing
  • Every delivered image individually edited, in a private online gallery

Choosing your hours

Most single-venue weddings settle around eight hours. Split locations push that to nine or ten, because travel consumes coverage you thought you were spending on photographs. Our guide on how many hours you need walks through building the number from your own timeline instead of a package.

Photography questions

How many photographers cover our wedding?
It depends on the shape of your day. One photographer is plenty for a small single-venue wedding. If both of you are getting ready in different places, or the guest list is large enough that family photos will take real time, a second photographer covers what one person physically cannot.
Will you direct us, or just document?
Mostly document. Direction shows up where it genuinely helps, family groupings, a sunset portrait window, moving a first look somewhere with better light. The rest of the day is yours to actually live.
How many images do we receive?
That varies with coverage length and the pace of your day rather than a fixed quota. What is consistent is that every delivered image is edited, we don't pad a gallery with near-duplicates to reach a number.
When do we get the gallery?
Turnaround is confirmed in your agreement so you have it in writing. A short preview set usually arrives well before the full gallery. Ask us for the current timeline when you check your date.
What happens if it rains?
We plan for it. Covered porches, interiors and shorter portrait windows all work, but the venue's rain plan matters more than ours, which is why our venue guides cover it specifically.
